How we protect your photos

How we protect your photos

You're trusting us with a photo of a child. Here is exactly what happens to it, step by step.

What we use the photo for

  • To check the photo. Before anything else, an automatic check makes sure the photo shows one clear face. This check runs on the same cloud that stores the photo (Cloudflare), which does not keep the photo and does not use it to train AI. It creates nothing.
  • To create the 3D hero. Only ONE AI model ever sees your photo: OpenAI (with Google's Gemini API as a backup)'s image model, which turns it into the 3D hero, in each adventure's costume. After that, the whole movie is made from the 3D hero, never from the photo.
  • For the end credits, if you order. Your movie ends with the real photo next to the 3D hero. That's the only place it appears.

When we delete it

  • If you don't order: we delete the photo within 24 hours. We keep the 3D hero for 7 days, so you can come back to your preview, then we delete it too.
  • If you order: we keep the photo until your movie is delivered, because it appears in the end credits. Then we delete it within 24 hours. For a Mini-Series or a Full Season, each episode's end credits show it too, so we keep it until the last episode is delivered (at most 7 weeks), then delete it within 24 hours. For a Family Pack, that's when the last movie of the pack is delivered.
  • Anytime you ask: write to hello@littlepremiere.com and we delete the photo, the 3D hero and the movie.

Each deletion is logged with its date and time. Your private movie page shows you the day your photo was deleted.

What we never do

  • We never make the photo public. It is not stored with your order, not sent to our store platform, and has no public link.
  • We never use it to train AI, and we never sell or share it.
  • We never build a face print or any biometric template from it.
  • We never show it in ads or on our site without your written permission.

How it's stored

  • Before it even leaves your phone, the photo is resized and its hidden data (location, camera, date) is removed. We remove it a second time on our side.
  • It is stored in a private, encrypted storage space (AES-256 at rest, TLS in transit). It can only be opened with a link that we create for a few minutes, and every opening is logged.
  • About our AI provider: OpenAI does not use data sent through its API to train or improve its models and keeps API requests for up to 30 days only to monitor abuse. Google's paid Gemini API, our backup, does not use your data to improve its products and keeps logs for a limited period only to detect abuse.

Your movie

Your movie lives on a private page that only you can open, from the link in your email. You can share a family link; if you chose a premiere date, that link only opens that morning.
